Let's Go Outback Tonight...Life Will Still Be There Tomorrow

Years ago there was this quiet, shy and well behaved Mennonite that came to work at Applebee's. After a while of corruption with me and my friends at Applebee's this Mennonite came out of her shell. Bethany has been my and Candice's friend for a while and we have missed her over these past three years. She had family that lived in Hawaii and one year for the holidays she and her family went and visited the family in Hawaii and decided then and there that is where she was moving to. About a month after we got married she packed her stuff and boarded the big metal bird and left. I honestly did not expect her to stay. I figured she would come back within the first year. She has come and gone over the past three years but our schedules have not worked out to hook up while she was here. This time I did not care what happened we were going out. We arranged to meet her and her "man" JC for dinner. JC was wanting some steak and I am always down for a steak so I suggested Outback. Oh yeah bloomin onion. Yum! After the awkward breaking the ice with JC everything started falling into place and we had a great time catching up. I am proud of what she and JC have done out in Hawaii. For those of you that are familiar with Plato's Closet they have started the same kind of concept on the island they live on. Within the first few months they were making money and after a year and a half and a couple awards they are looking to open another store. Good job y'all. So here is to us getting back together but in less than three years. Maybe we can go out to Hawaii this time :) It was good seeing y'all!
